Annual Farmer’s Market 2024 / Yard Sale

We are pleased to share St. George will be hosting the annual Farmer’s Market again in 2024!

Friday, August 9 – 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, August 10 – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to be held at Clandeboye Community Club.

Please pass the word to community members that we are accepting donations of clean, working order condition items. Items must be boxed if possible.  Contact Rhonda Jolicoeur or Joan Wilkinson to meet at the church for drop off of donations.

We are in need of the following volunteers shifts:

Thursday evening after 5pm – Set Up Crew (trucks to drive items from church to hall, people to set up tables and unpack boxes onto tables). We need lots of help this night!

Friday 9am – 6pm Cashiers (comfortable handling money and bargaining!)

Saturday morning 8am-12pm – Cashiers

Saturday 12-3pm – Clean Up Crew (pack up all items for disposal or donation, and put away tables) as well as people to commit to taking away donations to various venues in either Selkirk or Winnipeg (i.e. Salvation Army, House of Economy, landfill, etc).  Last year, this was the most work as we only had a few people to help. Any size vehicle to take a load would be much appreciated!!

As always, we will be accepting any baking and fresh produce.

Please reach out to Rhonda to volunteer for a shift at 204-781-3772 (text or call) or Rhonda.Jolicoeur@icloud.com.
