About Us

St. George Wakefield was consecrated on November 6, 1904 and remains an essential service in our community.  We are extremely proud of our church and the beautifully maintained cemetery/churchyard surrounding it.  However, a church is nothing without its people.  As in the past years, St. George Wakefield Church has a team of faithful and dedicated people attending and contributing to its care.  Our regular worship is Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. and all are welcome.  Following the service, we have coffee, refreshments and a time of fellowship in the parish hall.

Anyone interested in Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage, or Christian Burial, please contact Mawejje at 204-738-4366 or 204-482-9486 or email: stgeorgewakefield@outlook.com

Bible Study is held every Thursday – 10:00 a.m. at the Church hall.

Music Ministry – Do you play an instrument?  If you are interested in joining our music ministry, please contact us at stgeorgewakefield@outlook.com

Readers, Server’s, Greeters and Cup Administrant’s – We love when the congregation participates with the service.    We continually welcome new members.  If any of these areas interest you, please contact us.
